An artificial intelligence company specialising in contemporary art valuation

The company helps bring transparency to the world of art valuation, using a proprietary AI algorithm that quantifies artist’s growth, tracks evolution of value, and measures the past and future influence of museums and galleries.

 

The work: this short term engagement focused on defining the user personas, refining the value proposition for each category of users, and quantifying the revenue model for the company overall. All these elements were then combined into a fundraising deck, in which we also worked on the framing and messaging.

 

The result: thanks to this work, the company was able to raise a SAFE round which was oversubscribed.

A luxury women's ready-to-wear designer

The company is a women’s luxury ready-to-wear brand based in Montreal. The company had been distributed in select boutiques in Canada, and had the ambition to expand to the United States and European markets.

 

The work: this multi-year engagement covered every aspect of the company: defining the expansion strategy over the next four years, recruiting expert collaborators on the US retail and wholesale markets, digital marketing, Shopify e-commerce implementation and overall brand positioning. We built out the company’s budget and forecasts, secured financing from several sources and supported the team as they operationalized the strategy.

 

The result: the company started presentations during New York Fashion week in 2019, were then sold in Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Moda Operandi and went on to present at Paris Fashion week. The brand also grew its digital presence and online sales over the past three years.
